报告题目：Experimental studies of doubly-charmed baryons at LHCb

When considering lightest fourquarks (u, d, s and c), the quark model predicts baryons with C = 2 fromSU(4) multiples, such as Xicc++(ccu), Xicc+(ccd) and Omegacc+(ccs), which arereferred to doubly charmed baryons. Recently, the LHCb experimentannounced the observation of the doubly charmed baryon Xicc++ using theproton-proton collision data collected at a center-of-mass energy of 13TeV in 2016. Which was confirmed in an additional sample collected at 8TeV in 2012.
The report will discuss the observation of Xicc++ andintroduce the following measurement of doubly charmed baryon at LHCb.
Dr. QingnianXu got his PhD from University of Chinese Academy of Science in 2016, workingon BESIII, Belle experiment and MOMENT experiment. Then he became the Postdocthere working on LHCb experiment. He has the experience on offline softwaredevelopment, data analysis and hardware test on particle physics experiments.
