摘要：

This talk consists of two parts. In the first part, the topic “noise factors in plasma spraying” is dealt. There are numerous influencing factors in plasma spraying. The coating deposition and properties depends not only on variable process parameters but also on invariable noise factors. Under certain conditions, the influence of noise factors is more significant than the variable process parameters. In the talk, some research results related to this topic are introduced and discussed. In the second part, some application of TS coatings in automotive industry are introduced. The focus is the application of TS coatings in car engines. Process, materials and coating properties are summarized in the part.
