报告摘要:

I will discuss an SYK-like model in1+1 dimension. Higher-spin symmetries emerge in special limits of thismodel, where the model stops being chaotic. Our analysis demonstrates a clearconnection between this model and some higher-spin theories, and suggests thatthis model might be considered as a toy model to study some appropriatetensionless limit of String theory.

Brief Bio:

Dr. Peng graduated from PekingUniversity in 2008, and received his Ph.D. from University of Michigan, AnnArbor in 2013. He became a postdoc researcher at ETH Zurich before joiningBrown University. His research interest lies in quantum field theoryand quantum gravity in the framework of holography.
