报告摘要：

Ground penetrating radars (GPR) have been widely used in civil engineering, geology, archeology, agriculture, military for non-destructive evaluations of anomalies or structures underground or behind walls, and have become one of standard survey tools in many geophysical survey companies, in addition to magnetometers, conductivity meters, geophones.Many GPR users or to-be users often have many questions。This 3-hour short course is designed to provide answers to these questions for interested current and future GPR users.

报告人简介：

Dr. Chen received his B.S. degree from National Taiwan University, Taiwan in 1988, and his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering in 1993 and 1997, respectively, from The Ohio State University. He has been with The OSU ElectroScience Laboratory since 1993 as a Postdoctoral Researcher (1997~1999), Senior Research Associate (1999-2003) and Research Scientist in (2004~2011). He became a Research Associate Professor at The Ohio State University Electrical and Computer Engineering Department. In 2017, Dr. Chen also started working half-time as the Chief Technology Officer ata wireless power start-up company,Nikola Labs,which he co-founded in 2014.
