题目：Positive completions of Schur multipliers

In my talk, I will first introduce partially defined Schur multipliers and show necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of extensions to fully defined positive Schur multipliers, in terms of operator systems. If time allows, I will show an application in extending positive definite functions defined on a symmetric subset of a locally compact group.

报告人介绍：林英芬博士，算子代数、非交换调和分析领域。先后在台湾东华大学、加拿大亚伯达大学任教、担任研究工作；也多次受邀出访国际知名科研单位、担任客座教授，包括法国Metz大学、英国牛顿研究中心，目前任教于英国女王大学。
