报告摘要:

The possibility of the existence of quark matter core in dense neutron stars has been discussed by various authors. Observationally, it is still a very challenging thing to distinguish the various types of compact objects such as thestrange stars, hybrid stars and ordinary neutron stars. In this talk, I will give a review of two good probes of the internal composition of compact stars. One is early cooling behavior, the other is astroseismology. In particular, I will be concerned with the so-called r-mode instability which are relative with the viscosities of matter for the second one.
